1. Security Deposit
- At the time of car rental/lease booking, we require a security deposit to cover any potential damages, fines, or fees incurred during the rental period.
- The security deposit will be charged to your credit card or payment method provided at the time of booking.
2. Refund Process
- Upon return of the vehicle in satisfactory condition and completion of the rental/lease agreement, the security deposit will be refunded.
- Refunds for the security deposit will be done within 30 days from the date of the physical return of the vehicle.
3. Eligibility for Refund
- To be eligible for a security deposit refund, the vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was rented/leased, with no damages or any additional charges (exceeding the allowed mileage limit, returning the vehicle with less fuel than delivered) incurred during the rental period.
- Any outstanding fees, fines, or charges (rental and non-rental) related to the rental/lease will be deducted from the security deposit before processing the refund.
4. Refund Method
- Refunds for the security deposit will be issued to the original payment method used for the rental transaction.
- In case the original payment method is not available to make the refund, the primary customer must provide an alternative option (bank account, card details of either himself/herself or any other beneficiary to process and complete the refund. If the refund is to be made to any other beneficiary, then the primary customer must provide Destinationscars with an authorization letter along with KYC of the mentioned beneficiary.
- Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your account depending on your financial institution.
